Sentieo’s Desktop app is a progressive web application which uses modern web capabilities to deliver an app-like user experience. The application has evolved from the web pages in the browser to an immersive desktop experience with enhanced capabilities. Learn more about the progressive web applications here.
To install the Application
via Help Menu
Click on the Help (?) icon present at the top right section of the screen
Select the Desktop App option from the menu to install the application
A popup should appear requesting confirmation for the installation, click on the blue “Install” button to install the application
Or, you can install the app directly from Google Chrome browser URL
Click on the install button in the URL bar.

To access the app after installation
for Mac users
To launch the application, search for “Sentieo” via Spotlight Search
Users are recommended to lock the application in Dock for quick access
for Windows users
To launch the application, go to the Start menu and search for Sentieo
Users are recommended to pin the application to Taskbar for quick access
For existing users:
If you are already using Sentieo’s desktop app, we recommend you to uninstall the previous version of the app and install the new app.
How to update the desktop app
As compared to traditional desktop applications, the new PWA application will not require separate installer files to get updates on the system. As and when any new updates will be pushed to the system, a simple application reload will launch the updated version.
The installation will work only in Google Chrome browser. Also the installation are not supported through browser’s Incognito or private mode
