Financial model templates
This template mimics a typical format analysts use to build financial models.
The model has two main sections:
Non – Periodic data such as Price Target, analyst coverage, recommendation, trading idea summary, etc.. go in the left section.
Period data such as Revenue, EPS, EBIT, Capex, etc. go to the right section:
Tip #1: Link one cell to your source spreadsheet, and copy and paste the formula across all periods.
Tip #2: Change the periods to match how your model is organized (eg: all years together, and all quarters together, or 1Q/2Q/3Q/4Q/FY, etc..) so that it is easier to copy and paste the formula across.
Remember to review the top left section. These fallbacks are used when a datapoint in the sheet is missing a parameter. They are useful when you do not want to keep repeatedly specifying within the table some parameters (for example: which ticker do they apply to? What observation date are they for? and what scenario?).
Bulk upload time series template
In this template, all the data is organized vertically, one datapoint per line, in a “database” style format.
This template is useful if you are exporting data from a database to bring into Sentieo Connect, for example. This format is also commonly used by data vendors to distribute datasets.
Tip: Note that you can mix and match period and non-periodic datapoints. Just leave the Period column empty for non-periodic datapoints.

They are useful when you do not want to keep repeatedly specifying within the table some parameters (for example: which ticker do they apply to? What observation date are they for? and what scenario?).
Bulk upload template, grouped by metric and scenarios
This template is ideal if your data is organized by metric then by scenario. We find this to be common in summary spreadsheets for example, presented frequently on sell-side research notes and models.
Remember to review the top section; These fallbacks are used when a datapoint in the sheet is missing a parameter. They are useful when you do not want to keep repeatedly specifying within the table some parameters (for example: which ticker do they apply to? What observation date are they for? and what scenario?).
Bulk upload template, with metrics in columns
In this template, each row represents a ticker and a period, and each column corresponds to a metric.
For example, the full financial model for a given ticker for a given year would be represented in a single line.
It is another common way of organizing data in research models or in structured databases, so you may encounter files like this from 3rd party data vendors.
Remember to review the top section; These fallbacks are used when a datapoint in the sheet is missing a parameter. They are useful when you do not want to keep repeatedly specifying within the table some parameters (for example: which ticker do they apply to? What observation date are they for? and what scenario?).
Watchlist Upload template
This is a simple template, which can be used to upload one or more watchlists at once.
Note that if a watchlist with the same name already existed, it will be purged in favor of the new one.
Tip: If there is no watchlist mentioned corresponding to any ticker (or identifier) i.e. the watchlist cell is blank, then that ticker (or identifier) will be simply ignored
